Effect of Moisture Content on Mechanical Properties of AAM Natural Fiber-Reinforced Isophthalic Polyester Composites

Composite fiber reinforcement is one such proficient material that substitutes for useful applications conventional and polyester blends where little weight thus less energy conservation required. This study highlighted the importance of recently discovered Agave Angustifolia marginated (AAM) fibers extracted by a manual process from AAM plants. paper observes various properties mechanical moisture intake characteristics compares these to other naturally occurring fibers. Using isophthalic resin, mixed chopped fiber-reinforced composite prepared detailed preparation techniques are presented. During physical testing, pull-outs on broken samples were investigated. Additionally, experimental evidence demonstrates increasing volume fraction helps increase tensile, bending, modulus composite. The reaches its improved tensile strength at 25% Vf about 20 mm length fiber.
